The LU Women’s Centre would like to welcome you to a new school year! We are located in room L-221 in the Parker Building, next to the bookstore. The LU Women’s Centre is a woman-only and a safe place for women to get together. We welcome men to use our resources and participate in mixed gender events. We have many activities planned for the new school year so please continue to visit our website for updates.
We are always looking for volunteers to help with various activities, so please contact us if you would like to contribute. Welcome back and good luck in your studies!

We have decided to start a new campaign called "My feminism is…" and we would like for you to let us know what YOUR definition of feminism is. We would like to post everyone’s definition on the website in September, so please send us your definition to women_centre@laurentian.ca and let us know if we can attach your name or simply say author unknown.
We have attached a calendar of events to our website. We hope that this will allow you to be more aware of upcoming events in the Centre.
WOMEN-ONLY SPACE
We reserved the lounge in the back of the centre for the exclusive use of women. Come enjoy the company of other women, have tea or coffee, lunch or just relax and read a book on one of our comfy couches! Throughout the year, we offer various events designed to raise awareness, empower women, and to have FUN! | |
